The summer heat is in! Although not much time can be spent in the garden due to the heat, there are some disappointments, but there are still things that are productive in the garden.

Hi Aunty Kay your garden is doing well despite the heat. I am envious of your tomato plants as mine have only produced pebble size tomatoes! I am a big fan of frangipani’s and your yellow one looks lovely and they seem to thrive when it’s hot. Beautiful roses too!

Once again loved your Summer garden update 2022. Your tomatoes look fabulous. Mine are no where near that stage yet. Roses looking lovely. Can see a spot on Gardening Australia for you Aunty Kay! Well done Sam. Another video for the Lane Archives.

Thanks for sharing your summer garden. It has been very hot already this summer so there have been some casualties along the way. Your poor avocado trees, those little avo’s dropping off the tree, what a shame. However the garden still has some high spots. I love the bright pink roses, yellow frangipani and veges – tomatoes and beans. Keep watering and mulching! Thanks Mum and Sam for keeping us up to date!
