Kay’s Autumn Garden 2021

Starting off the 2021 series of Kay’s Garden, Autumn garden repeats the idea that autumn is not a very productive time, but a very busy one. With Kay showing off the weeding efforts, and some fruits starting to show on the citrus trees and some news on the avocados. As well as the plans ahead for Winter and Spring.

  1. Once again another great production coming from City Beach and the Lane garden. With the beautiful limes coming on I sense jam might be on the go. Liked the flashback to the avo with dieback. The other tree is very productive. Great to see the pee wee bird checking things out.🕊🪶

    1. Very productive I must say. Mitchell will be very envious when I tell him of your wonderful avocado fruit…nothing happening with his tree. What a nice bonus with the pumpkin popping up!
We have had a few of those birds on our lawn feasting on th grubs. Friendly little birds.Keep up the good work!

  2. Interesting to see the garden in autumn as it is prepared for winter vegetable crops and the planting of bulbs in the front garden. The citrus and avocado trees are in fruit awaiting ripening, picking and enjoying. We all love the avocado’s even though there are less this year and the fruit therefore more prized!
The birds are ever present waiting for the grubs to surface. Although seemingly friendly, these birds are perhaps territorial as they have swooped Sam as he has walked up the street. Guarding the patch??
It is nice to witness, through these videos the flow to the garden across the seasons.
    Thanks Sam and Mum x
