For the December get together, we celebrated getting together, Don’s Birthday, as well as a wake for Iris. For all of the people that came, it was a happy time looking back, remembering people that have passed, as well as meeting the next generation and telling new stories.
Everyone who came had something great to say, and here is the video of what the Get Together on that day meant to everyone.

Sam. What a wonderful video you have put together as we Celebrated Uncle Don’s 93rd Birthday and all fondly remembered Mum (Iris) who had passed away on the 18th December as well as Uncle Reuben’s passing back in August. It was really nice to see so many generations present on the 27th December. A very supportive group of people and very proud to be a Lane descendant.

Oh Sam, that was a beautifully put together Lane Get Together video. Lovely to see all the generations together and hear their voices and the connections we have as a family. It was particularly poignant to remember the passing of our dear Uncle Reuben and so recently Aunty Iris who contributed to these get togethers. Also wonderful to look forward and see the next 2 generations coming together.

Another good video and of more of the rellies this time, which made it more interesting and enjoyable. Sam you are made for this job as you are so patient with us. Lol. Glad to hear Uncle Geoff watched it twice as it is such a good think to look back on.
