It was great to have our recent morning tea for the Lane family. There were 11 of us, and several people drove from the country, including Michael, as well as Robyn and Graham, so it was nice to see them.
The final thing we had was that Richard brought us all a little jar of honey. Although he’s not from the country, he’s away a bit, so it was nice to see everyone there.
We also celebrated quite a few birthdays. There was Dee, then Don, who will be 98 on the 31st, then Geoff, and then Kay (myself). It was nice to have all those birthdays to talk about.
Of course, the big thing was our morning tea, which was, as usual, very tasty and delicious. There was lots of chatter, and it was so nice to catch up with everyone.
I think the Reuben, Geoff, and Iris would be very proud that we still get together, meet up, and reminisce. It was so nice to see you all, and I hope you have a happy Christmas.

Thank you Sam for photographing our latest Lane get together. Another great morning tea at Regis and especially to celebrate Uncle Dons upcoming 98th birthday. What a milestone. Special thanks to Aunty Kay for coordinating everyone and to Michelle for her baking treats. Thanks also to Richard for his honey- what a treat! We all appreciate the effort everyone makes to come from far and wide and we remember our family members who are no longer with us. They would be very happy to know we have kept up the catch ups.
